The Summer School will provide a forum to examine common ground
and differences between linguistic micro-and macrovariation and
to analyse and discuss descriptive and theoretical approaches to
linguistic variation and different aspects of micro- and
macrovariation. The event will offer a range of credit courses on the
model of the Summer Schools of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für
Sprachwissenschaft DGfS and Generative Linguistics of the Old World GLOW.
In addition there will be student sessions where students will be
presenting their own current work.
